this message is to introduce you to one of our main areas of specialization, the EX area, which we believe can support you in your needs to verify the conformity of your products intended to be used in explosive environments.
Eurofins Product Testing Italy provides CERTIFICATION and TESTING services on all types of equipment, components, safety devices, protective systems in compliance with the standards required by the ATEX Directive and the International Certification Schemes listed below:
- Directive 2014/34/EU Explosive Atmospheres (ATEX) as Notified Body (No.0477) and Testing Laboratory
- Testing and evaluation activities aimed at issuing EU Type Examination and QAN certificate
- Testing on large explosion-proof equipment and protective systems performed at the new outdoor test site, and following certification
- Unit verifications and issuance of the relevant certificate according to All. IX of the Directive
- Technical Files storage and issuance of storage receipt according to Art.13 point 1(b) ii of the Directive
- IECEx International Certification Scheme as Certification Body (ExCB) and Testing Laboratory (ExTL)
- Testing activities aimed at the issuance of ExTR
- Certification activities with issuance of CoC and QAR
On equipment and components having all main electrical and non-electrical types of protection
- Hazardous Locations certification for North America as qualified Laboratory to perform testing
- Testing activities on products according to HazLoc standards.
- Collaboration with NRTL (National Recognized Test Laboratory) Eurofins E&E North America, to obtain certification and issue MET mark for market access in the United States and Canada
- Factory Production Control at the manufacturer's facility to retain certification
- UK Ex Certification for the United Kingdom (UKCA Mark)
- Issuance of UK Ex certification through collaboration with Eurofins E&E CML, UKCA Approved Body, based on existing ATEX Type Examination certificates and QANs
- Technical Files storage and issuance of storage receipt
